What type of books do you sell?
The Printed Society sells pre-loved and new books.  Pre-loved books are all on hand, with descriptions of the conditions available.  New books can be purchased online from our Bookshop.org partnership.  Click the Shop New Button to order online.
What can I expect from Bookshop?
All new books purchased from Bookshop will be shipped directly to your home from Bookshop.  If you have any issues with delivery or quality, reach out to them directly  here.  

Do you have a physical location?
We do not currently have a physical store.  However, we are working to open a  physical location in St. Louis County in the upcoming year.  Be on the lookout for more information.
 
If I don’t see the book I'm looking for, can I request it?
Yes, if we do not have your book of choice available or online, we are happy to add any book for you on bookshop.  We are always buying used books and can update you, and receive more pre-loved inventory.
 
Can I sell my books?
The Printed Society buys gently owned books.  We are accepting books written by BIPOC authors across genres.  At this time we can only purchase locally.  Check here later or subscribe to our emails for alerts on buying.
 
  • We cannot make an offer until we see the merchandise.
  • Each buy is different and will be evaluated individually.
  • We'll make you an offer based on the condition of the merchandise and supply and demand.
  • State and local ordinances regarding buying and selling used merchandise will be followed.
  • We reserve the right to decline to buy merchandise.

      

     

    Return Policy

    At this time, all products listed on our site are final sales. Used books and merchandise are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

    If you receive your order and find an item to be missing, incorrect or damaged please contact the store within 7 days, so that we may address and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
